CDOT seeks qualified firms to submit comparable proposals to address mobility and congestion issues on the I-70 West Mountain Corridor

DENVER — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) released a request for statements of interest (RFSOI) for qualified firms interested in submitting a co-development proposal to assist CDOT in providing a long-term solution to the congestion and mobility issues on the I-70 Mountain Corridor through a program of highway, transit, and other improvements. This would also include helping CDOT to secure a public-private partnership for financing, designing, building, and operating the I-70 improvements through a long-term concession agreement.

ARTBA releases statement on passage of the Senate transportation reauthorization bill

Transportation for America congratulates Senate adoption of transportation bill, urges House to follow bipartisan roadmap

AASHTO statement on Senate Passage of S. 1813

WASHINGTON, D.C. — American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Executive Director John Horsley issued the following statement upon the passage by the Senate of S. 1813: "Members of the U.S. Senate are to be commended today, for their strong, bipartisan, passage of S. 1813 — a multiyear, $109 billion surface transportation reauthorization bill that sustains highway and transit funding at current levels.

Second annual ‘RALLY for ROADS’ planned to advocate for transportation funding

   WASHINGTON, D.C. — Members of 14 transportation construction industry associations will come to Washington for the second annual RALLY for ROADS, the nation’s largest transportation funding advocacy rally, on Tuesday, March 20. The first RALLY for ROADS drew more than 500 supporters last year; this year’s event is expected to double participation.
