The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has accepted an unsolicited conceptual proposal from a private firm to develop and operate the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel and Interstate 64 from Interstate 664 to Interstate 564 in Hampton, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach.

Axion International, producer of recycled, composite plastic industrial building products, announced that the Army Corps of Engineers recently released an inspection report focused on one of the two tank bridges constructed last year for the Department of Defense (DOD) at Fort Bragg, N.C.
