WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. ─ Wantman Group Inc. (WGI) announced it was selected by Florida’s Department of Transportation – District 4 to provide professional engineering services for the Design/Build – I-95 Mainline Widening from SR 70 to SR 614 in St. Lucie County, Fla. WGI teamed with Ranger Construction Industries Inc. to submit the successful proposal for this job. Improvements will widen the I-95 Mainline from four to eight lanes from south of SR 70 to SR 614, a distance of 9 miles. The project includes reconstruction of the interchanges at SR 70 and SR 68, two bridge replacements, and six bridge widenings. This $80-million project is one in a series of interstate widening projects that will expand the interstate system’s ability to ensure the mobility of people and goods, enhance economic prosperity, and preserve the quality of our environment and communities.
