ORLANDO, FLA. — TRB is sponsoring the 10th International Conference on Low-Volume Roads on July 24-27, 2011, in Lake Buena Vista (Orlando), Fla. The conference, held every four years, is designed to foster communication about new and innovative ways of building, maintaining, and managing low-volume road systems between practitioners worldwide in local, state, and federal agencies; universities; private firms; and international organizations. Papers from authors wishing to present at the conference are due by March 31, 2011. Papers are sought which offer a pragmatic perspective that can be applied by practitioners. Case studies, best practice reviews, and experience-based reports of innovative practices that may not be research, per se, are welcome at this conference. The preliminary program is now available, and the registration and hotel reservations processes are now open.
Early bird registration fees are available through May 1. You are encouraged to register and make your hotel reservation online as early as possible. Conference rates apply three days prior to (July 21-23, 2011) and three days following the conference (July 28-30, 2011), based on availability.
