RALEIGH, N.C. — Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm, is expanding its operations in Raleigh, N.C., to include bridge and structure services. Led by senior bridge engineer, Rick Wertman, P.E., the Raleigh-based bridge team provides design, inspection, and rehabilitation services for highway and rail structures, as well as buildings.
Prior to assembling in Raleigh, team members collaborated from their respective areas of the country on projects for the North Carolina Department of Transportation and the city of Charlotte. Such projects include the Charlotte Rail Improvement & Safety Program (CRISP), the Fayetteville Rail Relocation Improvement Project, and the Relocation of Old Dowd and Wallace Neel Roads at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
